Participating in project OMOD from SquirrelRidge.org was an incredibly rewarding experience that deepened my appreciation for the complexity and beauty of phonetic systems across languages (including my own language). I thoroughly enjoyed contributing to a project and developing tools to bridge diverse orthographies into a unified International Phonetic Alphabet framework. Throughout the process, I gained valuable insights into linguistics, phonetics, languoids, orthogons, and orthosets. Working with the project organizer was a highlight; their passion, clarity of vision, and supportive guidance made the collaboration not only smooth but genuinely inspiring. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute and to learn from such a dedicated and knowledgeable team.

Working on this project with Jay and the SquirrelRidge.org team was an incredible learning experience. The support was thoughtful, the vision behind the work was inspiring, and I always felt encouraged to explore, build, and refine ideas. I appreciated the balance between structured goals and creative freedom. I learned a lot about orthographic modeling and language tech, and I’m proud to have contributed to a project that respects linguistic diversity.

Working on the Indigenous Toponymy project was a rewarding experience. Jay’s enthusiasm and positive energy made the work both engaging and enjoyable.
