Data Collection Research Assistant

Our research lab publishes dozens of papers every year to promote projects in our field of research. Among these papers are studies detailing our lab’s findings from online interviews with voluntary participants. We would like to collaborate with students to support our interview process by assisting in data collection and verification of results. This will provide us with prepared datasets that are ready for further analysis. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with interview procedures and participating in training activities. Assisting researchers in contacting participants and setting up interviews. Recording, organizing, and storing results according to conventions. Verifying that data is recorded accurately. Cleaning data to ensure consistency and usability. Suggesting new research questions or modifications to improve the interview process.

Advanced Data Analytics & Visualization Using Power BI

ASH IT Consulting seeks to enhance its decision-making capabilities by developing an interactive data analytics dashboard using Power BI. The project aims to address the challenge of efficiently analyzing key industry trends to optimize business strategies. Learners will engage in the process of collecting and cleaning data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and relevance. The primary goal is to create a user-friendly dashboard that visualizes data in a way that uncovers actionable insights for stakeholders. By applying classroom knowledge of data analytics and visualization, learners will gain hands-on experience in transforming raw data into meaningful information. The project will focus on developing skills in data preparation, dashboard design, and the use of Power BI tools to support strategic business decisions.

Website UI / UX Design & Prototype

Our company would like to explore re-designing our current website with a prototype. We are always on the lookout for innovative and fresh UI and UX ideas that will help our users. This will involve: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. We are happy to provide a walkthrough and other resources to help bring them up to speed. Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focused might return the best results in a redesign. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a web application which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendly Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this
