The main goal for the project is to provide students from Fanshawe College's Business - Marketing Co-op program with practical, hands-on experience through program-related projects or Co-op placements. Students will apply their marketing skills to address real-world business challenges, such as developing marketing plans, conducting market research, and delivering sales presentations. These experiences contribute to students' professional development and prepare them for entry-level roles in marketing and sales upon graduation.


This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Collaborating with Project: Human City to understand their bioethics goals and mission.


- Developing marketing plans that align with Project: Human City's values and objectives.


- Conducting market research to identify target audiences and potential partnerships.


- Creating and delivering sales presentations to promote Project: Human City's initiatives.


- Working on Co-op placements to gain hands-on experience in marketing and sales.


Deliverables


By the end of the project, students should complete the following tasks:


- Developed marketing plans aligned with Project: Human City's bioethics goals.


- Conducted market research reports to identify potential opportunities for Project: Human City.


- Delivered sales presentations to promote Project: Human City's initiatives.


- Completed Co-op placements to gain practical experience in marketing and sales.



Final deliverables:


- A comprehensive report detailing the marketing plans, market research findings, and sales presentation outcomes.


- Documentation of the Co-op placements and the skills gained during the experience.


Mentorship

during the project, project human city will provide the students with:

  • access to organisation slack for easy communication
  • weekly team meetings and recordings of internal meetings
  • support documentation and materials on the project
  • access to digital tools
