We are seeking students who can assist us in creating content that strongly aligns with our organization's vision, mission, and sector. We will provide clear guidance to ensure students have a comprehensive understanding of these crucial elements.


HUED Mamas Co. is the sister company of Black Girls Nutrition (BGN). HUED Mamas Co. is the 1st Maternal Health Nutrition company that empowers Women of Color on their fertility journey to motherhood. Our company provides culturally tailored preconception nutritional support for Women from the Black Diaspora on TTC journey to Mamahood, without sacrificing the foods and flavors from their cultural heritage.


Your primary focus will be on content creation for our company, encompassing various mediums such as video production, social media assets, and marketing collateral, which will serve as invaluable tools to promote our mission and values.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:


Video Production:

  • Plan, and help script engaging video content related to nutrition, wellness, and motherhood.
  • Edit raw video footage that will primarily be used for social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook). These include 15 sec, 30 sec, 60 sec, 3 minute videos.
  • Edit and optimize videos for various social media platforms.


Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop a detailed social media strategy for both platforms, including content calendar planning and posting schedules.
  • Define clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.


Content Creation:

  • Create visually appealing and informative graphics, images, and infographics for social media posts.
  • Write engaging and educational captions and hashtags for each post.
  • Develop a library of shareable content (articles, blog posts, videos) that align with the platforms' missions.


Reporting and Feedback:

  • Provide regular reports on the progress of the social media strategy and content performance.
  • Collect feedback from the project leads at Black Girls Nutrition and Hued Mamas to make necessary adjustments.


Final Presentation:

  • Deliver a comprehensive presentation outlining the project's achievements, strategies employed, and future recommendations for sustaining growth.


Mentorship

Students will work closely with the team members who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. Project management platform will be utilized to keep in contact with the company, provide detailed support, and quicker return for questions.

Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes compared to other women. This includes having the highest maternal mortality rates. Our team knows that the fertility journey to Mamahood for Women of Color TTC is stressful, emotionally draining, and complicated for so many Women of Color.
