Shepherds of Good Hope is committed to ensuring the security and compliance of its cloud environments. The organization aims to strengthen its Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) by adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This project involves a comprehensive assessment of the current cloud security posture, identification of vulnerabilities, and implementation of necessary improvements. The goal is to enhance the overall security framework, ensuring that all cloud-based operations are secure and compliant. Learners will apply their knowledge of cloud security, compliance standards, and risk management to achieve these objectives.



Key tasks include:


- Conducting a security audit of the current cloud environment.


- Identifying gaps and vulnerabilities in the existing setup.


- Proposing and implementing security enhancements.


- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Deliverables

The project will result in a detailed report and actionable improvements to Shepherds of Good Hope's cloud security posture. Deliverables include:



- A comprehensive security audit report highlighting current vulnerabilities.


- A list of recommended security enhancements and best practices.


- Implementation of selected security improvements.


- A compliance checklist ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.



These deliverables will provide Shepherds of Good Hope with a robust and secure cloud environment, safeguarding their operations and data.

Mentorship

Employer will be available to follow up with student questions and also create time for meetings and follow up questions.
