Details

Rue Productions is working on a documentary that aims to bring the stories of its interview subjects to life through compelling visual narratives. The project involves creating a series of 3D or 2D animation assets that will enhance the storytelling experience by visually representing the narratives shared by the interviewees. The goal is to rotoscope animations that align with the director's vision and effectively convey the emotions and themes of the documentary. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their skills in animation and visual style through storytelling, while also gaining experience in collaborating with a creative team. The tasks are closely related and focus on translating verbal stories into visual animations, ensuring consistency in style and tone throughout the documentary.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a set of 3D or 2D animation assets that align with the documentary's narrative and the director's guidance. These assets should be ready for integration into the documentary, with attention to detail in terms of style, color, and motion. The deliverables will include storyboard sketches, final animation sequences, and a brief report explaining the creative choices made during the animation process.
