Dream Laundry serves our local community with top-notch laundromat services. We want to integrate a brand-new appointment system, and we would like to make access to our services more convenient and flexible for customers.

We want to collaborate with students to develop an appointment system.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Researching scheduling software options and their features.
• Reviewing and implementing improvements to our current appointment scheduling prototype
• Selecting the best technologies for our appointment scheduling and recommending plans for implementation.

Bonus steps in the process may also include:

• Supporting the launch of the appointment booking feature on our website

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Familiarity with our target market, products and services
• Understanding of scheduling software options and features
• Selection of suitable technologies
• Recommendation of implementation methods

Bonus steps would include:

• Supporting the launch of the appointment booking feature on our website

Final deliverables should include

• A final report.
• A presentation.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our products and services
• Our current platform and scheduling system
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

Students may choose to schedule ongoing meetings for support throughout the project (i.e., weekly or bi-weekly check-ins)
