Details

As a Software iteration planner, you will be responsible for helping develop and implement new features for an experimental product vertical, adjusting and improving the front end of the service, preparing the system for early clinical validation settings and simulation/focus groups, and working closely with the core MedX product and design team.

We would like to collaborate with students to analyze our product and devise a thorough test plan for our product (clinicassist.ai) that can be executed.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Conducting background research on our product and analyzing user profiles, user stories, and desired outcomes.
  • Creating a detailed testing plan for features such as mobile responsiveness, internationalization, accessibility, browser compatibility, etc.
  • Executing the testing plan through manual means.
  • Analyzing and reporting results of testing.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Automating tests using software to simulate user activity.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our product, users, and desired features
  • Understanding of the software testing process and features to test for
  • Analysis of testing results

Bonus steps would include:

  • Automating software tests

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
  • A 10-minute presentation.
  • A 2 minute pitch to the product team on what features should be added / removed.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Current product understanding and user journeys
  • Industry standard testing approaches and software tools
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

Hands-on mentorship from the founding team, and the opportunity to be exposed to various facets of the business including the ability to sit on calls with potential users and end customers, strategic partners, and even investors. This is a great learning opportunity for any students interested in exposure
