Details

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

FireStarter IDEAS LTD is a social enterprise that helps immigrant women-owned businesses to start up and grow their businesses. We harness female intellectual, social  and financial capital for the specific purpose of building economic powerhouses.

We help to overcome barriers and fully participate in the global economy, create meaningful employment and build legacy businesses. Our team brings their expertise to provide one-and-done innovative solutions to start-up and scale up challenges.

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics
  • Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story
  • Develop performance indicators to measure achievement of targets
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

Students will have access to media tools like Canva.
